Constituents from across Worthing West will share in excitement at seeing the progress on the construction of Worthing's brand-new Integrated Care Centre since first breaking ground in February, last year.
The Integrated Care Centre is a multi-million-pound project funded by Worthing Borough Council that will one-stop-shop for residents seeking help with a range of care issues and will have space for doctors, mental health specialists, outpatients, health visitors and a pharmacy, as well as further services for families and children
Its location, directly behind the Town Hall, will be readily accessible for residents from across the constituency.
In addition to making it easier for patients to access care, it will also provide a significant upgrade to the facilities used by scores of NHS staff and create a new multi-storey public car park.
The completion date is looming - let us hope it is opened without delay.
