Last month, I was pleased to take part in Oxfam's #SecondHandSeptember and shop second-hand to reduce waste, take a stance against climate change, and help create a fairer world - all while supporting our local high street.
Second Hand September is a campaign that promotes donating, reusing, re-wearing and restyling your clothes during September, but it doesn't have to start there. I will be visiting local charity shops across Worthing and Arun in the coming weeks to shop and donate second-hand and help create a fairer world.
The fashion industry is one of the worst offenders for greenhouse gas emissions so shopping second-hand also means you're helping our environment.
During my most recent visit to the caring Oxfam team on Goring Road, I left with three new books, two ties and a brand-new belt. What bargains will you find?
