This week marks #InterFaithWeek, a time for learning, volunteering together, celebrating - and also conversation and dialogue.

Religion and belief are a personal matter for many individuals. Having a greater understanding of religion and belief is vital in creating a space where everyone can be their authentic self.
We should want everyone to recognise the value of celebrating our beliefs, our culture and our differences. Central to this is a broad and prideful religious education curriculum nation-wide.
Religious Education is subject to large regional discrepancies, with some children receiving comprehensive teaching, and others receiving none at all.
Given how Religious Education is essential in helping children navigate our complex religious and non-religious society, as well as successfully integrate within workplaces and communities, I continue to call on the Government to commit to a proper plan for Religious Education
