The tennis courts in Tarring are now open again after being given a new lease of life thanks to a joint project between the Government and the LTA.
I was pleased to support the Park Tennis Project from the beginning. It is important that we work together to protect these much-loved courts at the centre of our communities.
The courts at Church House Grounds, Church Road, have benefitted from a full resurfacing, new nets and new gate-access technology making it much easier for local residents and visitors to book and get on court.
Temporary lines will be replaced by fully repainted lines later in Spring when the weather allows.
We welcome the free bookable community slots running from 9am to 11am on weekdays. The hourly slots for the rest of the week are affordable and much easier to book thanks to the fully digitised system.
