It was rewarding to join with the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) for the launch of their manifesto 'Growth from the Ground Up', setting out the key priorities to boost house building rates through energizing our micro, small and medium-sized (MSME) construction sector.
The FMB is the UK’s largest trade association for the construction industry and is the recognised voice of the micro, small and medium-sized (MSME) construction sector.
There are 9 MSME firms based in Worthing West who are members of the FMB, employing significant numbers of local people from across the community.
Local builders sit at the heart of supporting our regional economy, creating new jobs and training the next generation of builders with skills fit for the modern economy here in Worthing, in Arun, and across the UK.
They are also key drivers in helping to grow the economy, deliver high-quality housing, and to improve the UK’s existing housing stock.
