I was pleased to visit English Martyrs Catholic Primary in Durrington and listen to students about the issues that matter most to them.
I heard from the students about the 'Send My Friend to School' international campaign to get boys and girls into school. This recognised that many are denied education by natural disasters, by conflict and sometimes by discrimination against girls.
They asked me to share their letter with the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, which I will do when I meet him this coming weekend.
I was welcomed by the Parish Priest, Father Chris Ingol of St Michael's Salvington, and Dr Helen Townsley the school's head teacher. The senior leadership team do well to support, nurture and educate every young pupil within their community.
