While assisting the hardworking Northbrook Councillors to deliver their In-Touch leaflet, my team and I met with Terry Woodjetts at the New West Durrington Estate to discuss ongoing concerns for members of the community.
Terry Woodjetts, Chair of the West Durrington Residents Association, has done much to keep developers to their promises and to represent residents at the highest levels in achieving their shared priorities.
Residents deserve to have repairs resolved in good time, have good communication with the management body and have greater confidence in the value and benefit of the fees they continue to pay for living on the estate.
I am pressing the developers to come together with Terry and I at a roundtable discussion on pressing concerns and severe delays for residents on the estate.
We continue to share hope at the positive proposal for a new special school on empty land in West Durrington. There is no timeline agreed upon as yet; I continue to press for our local Councils to prioritise this.
