I was grateful for the opportunity to meet with representatives of the haulage and logistics sector who deliver Christmas each year at the Road Haulage Association (RHA)’s New Year reception in Parliament yesterday.
The RHA has more than 8,500 members across the country, including many important businesses and individuals based here in Worthing and Arun.
Everything we eat, drink, wear and consume over the Christmas holiday depends on road haulage services and the companies and drivers that operate them. They bring Christmas to every shop shelf, doorstep and beneath every Christmas tree.
