I enjoyed being with Catriona Goldsmith at Palatine Primary School alongside her pupils, parents and fellow staff to recognise the wonderful extension.
It was a memorable occasion for all involved and in attendance. I was grateful for the delight of cutting the ceremonial red ribbon.
Every day there are miracles there. The new facilities provide vital space for the holistic care and cultivation of these young minds.
The gathering was also an opportunity for the remembrance of a much-loved member of staff and pupils who had been at the school.
There is a real sense of family and belonging for all within Palatine's community. I pay tribute to the caring staff and the encouraging pupils.
