#BlueMonday is the name given to the third Monday of January said by some as the most depressing day of the year.
For some, the term might invoke a day of melancholy and negativity. Rather, it should be a day of inspiration to consider the positives, to be proactive, and to make constructive life decisions.
This year, as with the past few, I looked forward to sharing a cup of tea and a catch-up with Samaritans who continue to work hard to redub the day #BrewMonday, a worthwhile effort to positively take over the day.
We discussed their calls for a cross-party effort to commit to reaching the lowest-ever UK suicide rate by the end of the next Parliament.
