Standards, second jobs for MPs and threats to the safety for MPs were amongst the questions raised by students at Worthing College following a postponed Parliament Week question and answer session.
Students were well mannered, well spoken and good representatives of an aspiring and promising new generation of open-minded and intelligent citizens.
Walking in, it was clear that the excellent team of teachers and staff have fostered an intellectual intrigue throughout the College community. The students were happy and their lives enriched through discussion and debate.
I will continue to do what I can to support our next generation through fairer funding and ever higher standards.
