As President of the British International Freight Association (BIFA), I was pleased to welcome guests to this year's awards ceremony which was attended by over 500 people.
The Freight Service Awards competition has been running now for 35 years.
The awards are all about rewarding excellence but also provide a vital opportunity for industry leaders to discuss important issues such as international trade deals, ongoing issues with pirates in the Red Sea, and progress in Northern Ireland.
