In 2012 Minister Shapps appeared on a Channel 4 programme on leasehold housing and assured that only a "tiny tiny tiny" number of landlords cause problems first predicted to be at least two and a half million, not what many would consider a 'tiny number'.
Since that time, Leasehold Knowledge Partnership with Martin and Sebastian O'Kelly at the helm have gone on to expose a huge range of poor practice in the sector. We now know it's about 6 million.
